I was waiting around near the bird house where, after five years of no-show, a pair of bluebirds are making a home for their babies.
I spot a bird in a tree nearby, but can’t see what it is, but with a telephoto lens I take a photo.
Later, on the computer I open the photo and there, on my big computer screen, is one of the bluebirds (female?) with a beak full of straw for the nest.
So my moment of joy was delayed until technology revealed what was there.
